Road trip surprise for bammy!

Bammy thinks we are coming on christmas eve day... But it's only tuesday the 20th and we are gonna surprise her at temple lights tonight! We are so excited.

Brennen's horse adventure

July 17, 2011, we were visiting grandma owen in lewiston, utah. and we were also there for a family reunion... there a few different versions of the story but let me tell you what i know!!! we dont know why or how or even with what foot he got kicked, but brennen did get kicked by a "devil" horse. ugh!! the kids (brennen, addi, and kael) went to feed their watermelon rigns to the horses who graze in grandma's back pasture (she rents it out) and they decided they wanted to go in the pen!!! all the sudden we heard brennen bawling at the top of his lungs, by the time kemer got out there he said "all i saw was brennen backed up to the fence holding on to it for dear life." kemer actually thought he was geting electricuted, but realized that wasnt the case when he saw that his face was gushing blood. he picked him up and ran to the grass where we had dinner layed out. he sat down and looked at brennens face. he freaked saying oh F***! and just started screaming "get in the car we are going to the hospital. when i asked if i could see what happened he tried showing me, but before i could get a look he pulled him back in towards his chest and screamed again!!! so after NOT obeying allthe traffic laws like the 911 operator asked us to do when we asked her for directions, we finally made it to the hospital. they brought us back immediately and laid brennen down in just a basic curtain room, the dr came in and instantly said oh hell no, and moved us to the triage room. they got brennen sudated! finally after bawling and squiming for about 30 minutes. he was relaxed and not to worried about his "OWY" the er nurse came in and we got scans and Xrays done, "just in case" then we waited what seemed for forever for the results, he had no brain trauma but did have a few broken sinus bones in his cheek. this isn't something they do surgery for so we were glad to hear that. then we just waited for the plastic surgeon who stitched his face up... it was probably the fastest e.r. visit i have ever had. brennen took all his meds like a big boy and finally got his stitches out a week later!!! his face has healed so well and we are so lucky that this whole accident wasnt much much worse. if it woulda been an inch higher he coulda lost his eye or broken his cheek bones way worse, and lower would ripped his lip like a piece of paper!!! the scaring isnt too bad and we hope it will get better with time!!!



this is one of the first pics we got, so ths big lit red spot is a open gash, then the dark red spot is a complete hole that goes straight through to the inside of his cheek.  when he took a drink is sounded like there was a whole in the straw nad not his face!!! lol its funny now!!! kemer at one point said we could just put the straw in there!!! hahaha any ways...

this is after the dr got done numbing his check "meat" that is when we noticed there was actually some missing. the left side that is all swollen is normal the right side is what is missing. weird huh?!?



all stitched up!!! this is when you could completely tell it was a hoof that hit him. its the exact shape!!!



this is his "special" smile. his smile will heal over time but no one knows if it will ever go back to the same way it was.... he might have had some nerve damage when the "chunk" went missing. gross, but how sweet is he?!?!?

our big boy rode a "mutton he did so good!!! a whole 3 seconds for his first ever ride!!! i was so proud of him... what an amazing little boy!!!

Kat's First Birthday!!!

my sweet baby girl turned one on january 5th!!! she is getting so big. she has been learning lots of signing, and is even starting to repeat everything she hears.  her birthday party was great, we had some good friends there!!! she got lots of nice toys, one of wich is her favorite doll ever!!! she is almost ready for nursery!! yay!!! she is getting so stinking big!!! yet she is my sweet little angel baby. its still hard for me to get after her for being a little turkey sometimes!!! which having brennen as a older brother makes it easy for her to learn!!! lol

our temple sealing Dec. 18th 2010.

ok so its been a while since i have posted but here it is. we recently got sealed in the temple as a family, it was an amazing day!!! the temple is such a calm and peaceful place. brennen and katalyn did suprisingly well, when it came time to bring them in brennen just made sure he was the big boy that copied everything daddy did, it was so cute. that night we had a dinner for family and friends it was such a great day!!! i wish i would have posted sooner so the memories could be more detailed.
i am just happy to finally be at this point in my life!!! so happy with my life!!! love every one in it.

my Neice and Nephew

this past week i got to go to arizona, to visit my family!!! i sure did miss them and loved seeing everyone, but the best thing was seeing my neice nad nephew. kaymie jennifer is getting so stinking big, i cant even take it!! she is so grown up at only 17 months.

 not to mention dually cliffton who is the biggest stinker ever. such a big boy!!! i miss his gutts so much. he is so handsome.

 him and brennen love eachother so much, they argue over toys like any 3 year olds would, but you can just tell they have such a deep love and connection and that makes me happy!!!

 they hada blast wrestling with eachother and even though dually is smaller, he always won!!! lol. i think brennen let him*wink wink*

over all it was an awesome week. coference was awesome! and being with family was even better. i will say it again, i miss them all so stinking much.

KATALYN RENEE HAWS

Our angel girl

katalyn was born january 5th 2010. she is grwing so fast it hardly seems like she is 9 months old. I can't even believe she is walking... she started early just like her brother. crolling at 5 months crawling at 6ish, and walking now at almost 9 months. she is such a big girl... as of right now she is cutting her 4th tooth, she will have the "beaver cleavers" when it is done coming through. her hair is crazy, its getting long but there is on little piece that is longer then the rest... i keep telling kemer she is gonna be alf-alfa for halloween, its gonna be so cute. kemer k=loves his baby girl, he is such a amazing dad with her. she loves his scruff on his face... everytime he holds her she will rub her hands softly over it and smile. she has the brightest smile i have ever seen. brennen has a big sunshine smile, but hers is so different, it has a light all its own. she is so friendly too, smiling at everyone she meets, everyone loves her. she loves her brother, and now that she is walking, she follows him everywhere, he loves her too, not all the time, but he does love her. he is a bratty older brother like any toddler/older brother would be. :) katalyn is such an amazing spirit everytime she smiles i am remind of my heavenly fathers amazing love. he blessed us with her at such a important time. she is our angel baby!

BRENNEN VERNON HAWS

Our sunshine boy

brennen is our sunshine boy... he is such a special boy, he lights up the room just by walking in it. he is such a blessing to us, he makes friends everywhere he goes. i cant even explain the joy he brings our home. brennen's birthday is  April 6, 2007. he is about 3 and a half now. such a big boy, he is starting to do everything on his own. he can do alot by his self, but he is good to ask for help when he needs it. any one that knows him, knows he is a handful of a child. he has so much energy, i love every single minute of it. i am learning to put all his energy to good use...  playing outside and doing activities that make him want to learn, he is doing well... he can count to 10 and sometimes will say 11,12. :) he knows every inch of his body, he can tell you basically what every animal on this earth is. he knows every face he see's ... he has great memory when it comes to that. and he gets smarter every day. he was born with hearling loss and for what the dr. said he is doing much better then expected, he speaks pretty good, only missing some of the softer sounds in words. but he is getting it, and with the help of preschool this year he should do amazing!!! when brennen was born was the first time i remember thinking that we needed to get going with our spiritual family. we need to get to the temple and show our children every day that the gospel is an important key to returning to our heavenly father, aan i think we are on that track, brennen says the prayer at dinner every single night. wich is great cuz he is learning, and then i dont have to, lol. just kidding. i love my boy so much and i am excited to watch him grow and learn. he is going to be a bright star!!!

Thorpe creek Ranch

We live on the V-7 ranch, in lamoille. kemers boss (jerry whitehead) is a judge in reno, nevada. and owns 3 seperate ranchs in lamoille. The Thorpe creek, The Clubine, and The V-7. Which total 3,000 acres of beautiful farming land. We love it. Other than kemer there is one other guy that works here, the mechanic. at the moment at the ranch we just finished up with haying about 2,000 acres or more. up next there will be calve saling and shipping. kemer is excited to work with the skills he has grown up with his whole life, and add to that list of skills. we love this life style. it fits us perfectly. brennen loves it. he gets to go to work with daddy almost every day. he loves riding in the tractor. he is gonna be a huge help when he gets a little bigger! over all we are so happy with the decision. we are so blessed to be able to be together as a family. although i really miss my extended family in las vegas, and arizona. well that is about it about hte ranch. any questions, just ask in the comments.

The Ranch Life

Hello all, not that we have any followers yet... but we will soon. anyways, i figured since i havent been on this thing since i got it i should really update it. we are now living in lamoille, nevada. wich is probably the most beautiful place in nevada! kemer got hired on at thorpe creek ranch back in april and we love it. kemers job is basically running 600 head of cattle, haying(which just ended, finally) and pretty much any thing that needs done around the place. kemer is loving it. We also love the ward here and have made so many friends. we also have our first calling in the ward i am the activity chair and kemer is my  adviser. we are loving it so far. brennen loves this place but i will update about him next. i am so excited that we have started our lives and at this moment our goals are to get to the temple in december. we are so excited!!!

Our First Post

I have officially started a blog.... we had one before but never used it , and now i cant remember how to get into it. so here is the new one!!!
